INDEFI is a fast-growing strategy consulting firm that serves financial investors (private equity specialists, generalist asset managers, wealth managers, etc.). Established in 2007, we are a team of 80+ consultants headquartered in Paris, Lyon and Madrid!

We are operating through three business units:

• Sustainability: We help our clients define and deliver their Responsible Investment strategy and operating model. We work across the value chain to support investors and portfolio companies to define and embed their chosen approach to ESG and sustainability impact
• Private Equity: We help private equity firms make better investment decisions at every stage of the deal life cycle and build greater returns. We also advise on investment firm strategy and development, creating value through improved performance.
• Corporate strategy: conducting strategic development projects for global asset managers including business strategy, market entry, distribution strategy, new product development, non-organic growth and investment process enhancement

As part of our local and international development, we are looking for postgraduate students or recent graduates from top-tier business and engineering schools / universities to join us as Strategy Consultant - Intern - Corporate Strategy for our Paris office from July 25.

Mission :

You will take part in international strategy projects covering a wide range of growth topics in the asset management industry such as:

• Inorganic and organic growth strategies (i.e. expansion to new geographies, products, or investor channels)
• New product development (i.e. defining the fund strategy, fund raising strategies)
• Market research about industry shifts (i.e. the impact of technology, Gen Z investors, private assets, ect...)

Each project lasts from three to six weeks where a dedicated team up to five people collaborates from start to finish. As an intern/consultant you will have the opportunity to attend meetings with clients and Indefi partners. As such, you will be in contact with a highly experienced and professional people of the industry.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Data collection and analysis;
• Field research and interviews with market experts;
• Support in the delivery of strategic recommendations to client C-suites

Your Profile

We are looking to strengthen our team with highly talented individuals showing a combination of exceptional intellectual ability, analytical skills and business sense. The preferred candidates should be motivated to take responsibility quickly, demonstrate an ownership mentality and an ability to seize opportunities and make a difference:

• Graduated from a top business or engineering school;
• Work experience at either strategy consulting firms, strategy division or M&A department of international groups, investment banks, asset management or private equity firms Strong skills and experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and good knowledge of Excel;
• Good knowledge of Private Equity topics
• Full fluency English. A good working knowledge of French or another European languages would be a plus.
• Available for a duration of 6 months from July 25
